The Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye received a three-member delegation from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of Ghana for the 13th “All African Games”.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to welcome the Minister to his new office and also table concerns of the committee before the Ministry.
Top of the issues presented was a housing facility for the discharge of the committee’s responsibilities. According to them, this will enhance the effectiveness of their preparation for the game and speed up the process.
In his response, the Minister assured the committee of the government’s commitment through the Ministry of Works and Housing in ensuring its work is done effectively without any hindrances. He reiterated, that the Ministry will continue to support and collaborate with the committee for a successful run come 2023.
The Committee of the 13th “All African Games” was inaugurated by His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on October 12, 2020, at the Jubilee House in Accra.
